４学期が始まったよ！：Welcome back to JLCSB!

先日、ブリスベン日本学園でも４学期がスタートしました。

今週は小学部の２つのクラスにお邪魔しました。

低学年のクラスの方ではクラフトでたくさんのアメちゃんや🍙おにぎりやお菓子などを紙で作っていましたね。

物作りをしている時間がとっても楽しそうで、ついついクラフトの様子ばかりを写真に収めてしまいますが、お次はもうひとつ別のクラスの様子をご紹介します。

「東京で最も高い仕事」とは？

2012年5月22日、日本の東京には、日本で1番高い建物

“スカイツリー“が完成しました。634メートルという高さです。

そのスカイツリーは完成後も様々な点検や清掃のため、たくさんの作業員の方が“命綱“をつけて建物の外側で作業をします。

授業でその様子の動画を観た子ども達は、「ヒエー！」とか、「NO〜」とか声をあげて真剣に観ていました。

先生が面白い質問を投げ掛けながら、子ども達が個々の考えや感じたことを発言するその様子は、見ていてとても面白い光景です。

このようにブリスベン日本学園では、様々な角度から色々なトピックで日本の面白いこと、不思議なことなどをテーマに色々なことを学んでいます。

今学期も、生徒の皆さんのたくさんの楽しい様子をご紹介していきます。お楽しみに！

'Working at the highest point in Tokyo'

On 22 May 2012, Tokyo, Japan, saw the completion of Japan's tallest building

The Sky Tree was completed at a height of 634 metres.

Even after the Sky Tree was completed, many workers still have to work on the outside of the building with "lifelines" to carry out various inspections and cleaning.

When the children watched a video of this in class, they said "Whee! and "NO!" as they watched the video seriously.

It was very interesting to watch the children expressing their individual thoughts and feelings while the teacher asked interesting questions.

In this way, the JLCSB is learning many interesting and mysterious things about Japan from various angles and on various topics.
