お習字と墨絵。

🎨🖌️ 今週のJLCSBお習字でアートタイム！ 🖌️🎨

先週のJLCSBでは、お待ちかねの「お習字教室」を開催しました！毎回大人気の書道家・平山先生、中井先生がお越しくださり、教室内は墨の香りと集中の空気に包まれました。

低学年の児童たちは、筆の運びや形の練習に夢中。真剣な表情の中にも「これでいい？」と先生に聞く声があちこちから。かわいらしい文字がどんどん紙の上に広がっていきました。

一方、高学年チームは今回はちょっと違う挑戦！なんと「鳥獣戯画（ちょうじゅうぎが）」をテーマにした墨絵アートに挑戦しました！🐸🐇🐒先生がご用意してくださったお手本には、ウサギが弓矢で狙いを定める様子や、カエルが弓矢にもたれかかって口を開けて何やら話しかけているような様子、ユーモアたっぷりの日本最古の“漫画”の世界が！

子どもたちは「このカエル、ちょっとママに似てる！？」なんて笑いながらも、筆を持つ手は真剣そのもの。

お習字は親子教室です。お母さんたちが一緒に参加してとてもみんな楽しそう。

にじみや濃淡をうまく使いこなしながら、のびのびとした線で自分だけの鳥獣戯画を描きあげました。

最後はみんなで作品を見せ合いながら嬉しそう。中には「ぼくのウサギ、カンガルーになっちゃった〜！」なんて声もあったかな？！楽しくて学びいっぱいの時間になりました。

🎨🖌️ Art Time at JLCSB Calligraphy Class! 🖌️🎨

Last week at JLCSB, we held our long-awaited Calligraphy Class!Our wonderful and always-popular instructors, Ms. Hirayama and Ms. Nakai, joined us once again, and the classroom was filled with the scent of ink and the quiet hum of concentration.

The younger students focused intently on learning how to move the brush and shape their letters.Amidst the silence, cheerful voices could be heard—“Is this right, sensei?”—as their adorable characters began to dance across the paper.

Meanwhile, the senior group took on a special challenge this time — Sumi-e (ink painting) inspired by Chōjū-giga, Japan’s oldest “manga”! 🐸🐇🐒The sample artwork prepared by the teachers featured a rabbit aiming a bow and arrow, a frog leaning on another arrow as if chatting away—capturing the humorous world of these famous ancient scrolls.

Students laughed, saying things like, “Hey, this frog looks like my mom!” yet their hands stayed perfectly steady as they painted.Since our calligraphy class is a parent-and-child activity, everyone—moms included—seemed to have a wonderful time together.

Using delicate shades of ink and gentle brushstrokes, the students created their very own versions of Chōjū-giga.At the end, everyone proudly shared their masterpieces, smiling from ear to ear.One student even exclaimed, “My rabbit turned into a kangaroo!” 🦘😂
